We are seeking a Purchasing and Logistics Specialist to ensure the timely supply of goods, materials, and services needed by the company. This role involves managing the entire procurement process from receiving requests and negotiating with suppliers to overseeing delivery and transportation to company sites. The successful candidate will also organize logistics operations and conduct tender procedures, supporting the procurement department’s activities in full compliance with internal standards and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Receive and process requests for goods and services from departments and production units.
- Ensure the accuracy of quantities, quality, and delivery deadlines: both in terms of the procurement process and logistics operations.
- Maintain communication with suppliers and partners: negotiate prices, terms, and delivery conditions.
- Prepare and coordinate contracts with suppliers and transport companies.
- Monitor compliance with purchasing procedures and material accountability.
- Research the market and propose new potential suppliers, including a broad range of transport companies, to meet the organization’s logistics needs.
- Maintain all necessary documentation and correspondence related to procurement and inbound logistics.
- Work in compliance with quality, safety, health, and environmental protection standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Higher education – in Economics, Engineering, or another relevant field;
- Experience in procurement, logistics, transport, or commercial activities is an advantage.
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).
- Experience with ERP systems will be considered an advantage.
- Good command of English.
- Strong negotiation and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Loyalty, accuracy, flexibility, and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
