Software Test Architect

Your responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the creation and maintenance of sophisticated test models, particularly for simulation-based testing scenarios;
• Design and maintain the structure and logic of simulation models to accurately replicate real-world scenarios and system behaviors;
• Collaborate closely with domain experts and software developers to define and refine model parameters and ensure models meet technical and functional requirements;
• Ensure the validity, traceability and reproducibility of simulation models and test results;
• Integrate simulation models into the overall test environment and support their use in automated test pipelines;
• Contribute to the overall test concepts with standardized test methodologies, frameworks, and best practices across teams;
• Cross-departmental and cross-location cooperation in an international team.

Your qualifications:

• Education – University degree in the field of Software Engineering or/and Information technology or comparable qualifications;
• Very good knowledge of English language – minimum B2 in the European language system;
• Proven experience in simulation model development and software testing for embedded or complex technical systems;
• Strong knowledge of simulation tools and modeling languages (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Modelica);
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages relevant to simulation and test automation;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Will be considered as an advantage:

• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing environments;
• Experience with industrial communication protocols and standards;
• Understanding of safety-critical software development (e.g., ISO 26262).
