We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced risk management professional to join our Retail Credit Risk Directorate. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing the credit risk of retail lending products and will be responsible for collaboration with OTP head office and the business markets, defining and analyzing risk related product requirements, managing a cross-functional team to develop and launch new lending products and processes, and managing the ongoing performance of the existing portfolio.

About the role:

• Take ownership of the credit risk related topics for a specific retail lending products.
• Ensure compliance of the lending products, processes and systems with the regulatory requirements and the risk appetite of the bank and the banking group.
• Bring constant improvement to the performance, automation and/or profitability of the lending products, processes and systems.

What you will be doing:

• Acting as a SPOC from Retail Risk side and collaborating with all stakeholders in the respective business market and OTP head office risk management.
• Prioritizing the internal and extremal customer needs and incorporate their feedback into risk strategies.
• Coordinating a cross-functional team to align the markets’ priorities and the execution of the necessary tasks.
• Be responsible for the product vision, backlog management and implementation of the lending strategies into systems, processes and policies.
• Ensuring products and processes are in line with the risk appetite and the regulatory requirements regarding risk management and performing continuous monitoring.
• Regularly reviewing and adjusting risk management strategies and processes to improve automation, efficiency and/or profitability.
• Obtaining approvals for the new or amended strategies, products and processes by OTP Group and/or local authorities.
• Participating in projects related to the covered business domain.

What you will need:

• Master’s degree in finance, analytics or other relevant fields.
• 3+ years of experience in risk management or retail lending.
• Strong leadership, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and implement effective strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bulgarian.
