Concerning our continuous growth, we are looking for a new team member for the position of: Legal Advisor.

Main responsibilities:

• Draft, review and negotiate large-scale contracts in the solar construction industry;
• Advise management on regulatory and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and industry regulations;
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide timely legal support and facilitate effective contract management throughout the project lifecycle;
• Conduct legal research and coordinate with external counsels on regulatory, contractual, compliance and data protection matters across multiple jurisdictions;
• Provide practical legal and regulatory advice to business teams operating in different jurisdictions, supporting informed commercial decision-making;
• Provide day-to-day legal support to the business, advising on operational matters and mitigating legal risks
• Interpret contractual provisions and advise internal stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations and risk exposure
• Identify legal risks associated with potential investments and commercial transactions, proposing appropriate contractual and commercial risk mitigation measures;
• Manage pre-litigation risks and develop litigation strategies; coordinate and colaborate with external legal counsels in dispute resolution;
• Assist with the preparation, implementation and maintenance of legal templates, internal policies and contractual documentation;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes, templates and knowledge-sharing within the Legal Department.

We are looking for someone who has:

• University degree in Law;
• Proven professional experience in the construction sector in Bulgaria, with solid knowledge of the Spatial Development Act, and/or experience in contract drafting, negotiation and contract management of long-term investment, construction, renewable energy contracts in an international environment (essential requirement);
• Experience in advising on FIDIC based construction and engineering contracts will be considered advantage;
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Additional language skills especially in German/French/Italian language would be considered as an advantage;
• Strong legal research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize competing deadlines;
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and support complex international projects;
• Proactive, business-oriented mindset and ability to provide practical legal solutions;
• Eagerness to develop professionally within the renewable energy sector.
