Site Commodities Indirect Buyer Junior /on site/

Responsibilities:

• Participate in defining the purchasing local strategy for its commodity and the needs expressed by internal customers;
• Participate in the referencing of new suppliers;
• In agreement with the Site Commodities Indirect Buyer, participate in the preparation of the consultation, drawing on the company's internal resources to define the framework of the consultation: (consultation, the company's needs, the requirements to be expressed and the objectives of the negotiation);
• Take part in market prospecting and evaluation, and in the pre-selection of suppliers for consultation;
• Consult suppliers and ensure that all competitors receive fair information, as and when required to measure changes in the expression of needs;
• Take part in negotiations with suppliers;
• Participate on implementing the commercial agreements reached (updating the information system and action plan);
• Participate in process of setting of indirect items in SAP;
• Ensures the transmission of commercial purchasing data to the overhead procurement platform for order creation;
• Follow suppliers’ compliance with contractual terms;
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, in consultation with related plant departments;
• Participate with the Site Commodities Indirect Buyer on identification of supplier’s risks and collaborate on the associated action plan;
• Continuously ensure data consistency in the information system;
• Creation of Purchase order and its communications with suppliers;
• Preparing of order books; follow the on-time deliveries and communicate with suppliers;
• Ensure that the quotes entrusted to it are valued;
• Respond to customer requests: financial department, operations department, HR department;
• Participate on the exchange of information, best practices and the identification of areas for improvement with internal customers and related departments.

Requirements:

• University Education;
• Familiar with Microsoft office (Excel, Word);
• Good computer literacy;
• English language is mandatory;
• French language will be considered as an advantage;
• Familiar with ERP systems /SAP preferably/;
• Excellent and proven communication skills and ability to establish good relationships within and outside the company;
• Will to learn in a dynamic environment;
• Ability to organize and prioritize the daily tasks.
