We are currently seeking to employ a talented, passionate, and dedicated General Counsel with at least 5 years of post-qualification professional experience.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day legal matters for the company and its subsidiaries;
• Provide legal support for daily business operations, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation;
• Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of agreements, including investment, intellectual property, franchise, sales, insurance contracts, and financial leases;
• Offer practical and timely legal counsel to senior management on diverse legal issues, proactively identifying potential risks while aligning with the company's strategic objectives;
• Conduct thorough research on both domestic and international laws to ensure legal compliance across all business activities;
• Handle complex multi-jurisdictional legal matters, providing clear guidance on laws affecting the company's global operations;
• Prepare litigation documents, including pleadings and ancillary applications, to support legal actions;
• Collaborate closely with various internal departments—Business, Finance, Accounting, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing—and external advisors, including outside counsel, experts, and consultants, to address and defend claims.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Law from a recognized Bulgarian or international university;
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous;
• A minimum of five years of relevant legal experience, either as a sole practitioner, in-house counsel for a fast-paced company, or as an associate at a full-service law firm;
• Expertise in corporate, commercial, labor, contractual, tax, and administrative law is a plus;
• Strong team player with excellent advocacy skills and a keen eye for detail;
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment and high analytical capability;
• Strong business acumen, common sense, and the ability to handle pressure while maintaining ethical standards;
• Professional curiosity and a willingness to explore legal issues beyond core areas of expertise.
