SSP is a leading operator of food and beverage brands in travel locations worldwide. We operate well-known restaurants, bars, cafes, and fast-food outlets in airports, train stations, and service areas, delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service. Job Summary: As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our store. You will lead and support a team, maintain high standards of customer service, and ensure all operational and safety procedures are followed. This is a hands-on role requiring leadership, teamwork, and a passion for delivering great customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support the team to ensure excellent service and operational efficiency during shifts. Act as the point of contact for team members, providing guidance and motivation. Ensure all team members follow company policies, health and safety regulations, and food hygiene standards. Handle customer queries, complaints, and requests in a professional and friendly manner. Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations. Lead by example in delivering outstanding service and maintaining brand standards. Support training and development of new and existing team members. Ensure cash handling procedures and financial transactions are conducted accurately. Open and close the store as required, ensuring security and operational readiness. Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a food service or retail environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
