Regional Manager, Small and Medium-Size Enterprise Banking, SME Department, Sofia

Contribution and key responsibilities:

• Leads a team of credit specialists in implementing the strategy and business plans for the small and medium enterprises segment, including the sale of credit and non-credit products
• Coordinates and maintains relationships with clients in the SME segment, including contract negotiations, granting, and management of credit facilities
• Reviews and analyzes credit deal proposals and suggestions for preferential terms for SME clients, prepared by the Head Office and branch credit specialists, and forwards them to the appropriate decision-making authorities within the Bank
• Assigns and monitors periodic credit analyses of clients serviced by the Head Office and branches, including reviewing their financial reports and forecasts
• Support the preparation and structuring of credit proposals developed by credit specialists at the Head Office and branches, review the proposals, and forward them to the appropriate approval authorities within the Bank
• Controls the fulfillment of obligations and assigned tasks of credit specialists at the Head Office and branches and assists in providing quality and efficient customer service

For efficiency and effective role performance:

• Higher economic education – a specialty in finance, banking, accounting, or business management is an advantage
• Good command of English – written and spoken
• 2 years of professional experience in a similar position is an advantage
• In-depth knowledge in the field of corporate lending
• Excellent computer skills – MS Office, Internet
• High analytical skills, result-oriented mindset, and a strong need for achievement
• Customer orientation and effective communication skills
• Demonstrate ambition, resilience, and a strong technical orientation
