About the Role: Eurobank Bulgaria is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Financial Analyst / Reporting Officer to join our Management Accounts, IFRS Reporting & Methodology department, Finance. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and efficient management accounting processes. You will work closely with senior finance professionals, providing crucial insights that drive business decisions and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial & Management Reporting

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports for Eurobank Bulgaria AD and its subsidiaries.
• Support the timely and accurate submission of financial data to senior management, boards, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide insights and financial analysis to support decision-making and improve financial performance.

2. IFRS Compliance & Accounting Methodology

• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards in financial reporting processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies in line with IFRS and industry best practices.
• Support external audits by preparing required documentation and liaising with auditors.
• Contribute to the preparation and submission of IFRS financial statements.

3. Process Improvement & Financial Governance

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, automation, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with various teams, including Group Finance and Local Finance, to ensure consistency in financial reporting.
• Assist in finance transformation projects, driving structured data integration and process optimization.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, management accounting, or IFRS compliance, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, problem-solving, and data interpretation.
• Experience in audit processes is a plus.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA, or working towards one is an advantage.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and reporting tools.
