We are looking for a responsible, well-organized, and proactive professional to join our Accounting team in the role of Deputy Chief accountant.

Primary accountabilities:

• Playing a key role in the month- and year-end closing;
• Key SAP user;
• Providing guidance with respect to IFRS 16;
• Reviewing and validating monthly VAT Declarations;
• Supporting the preparation of Tax Returns in accordance with local legislation and Annual Financial Statements under IFRS;
• Supervising the preparation of statistical and BNB reports;
• Monitoring accruals and provisions;
• Communicating and providing information to tax authorities and auditors;
• Implementing new processes and developing guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Work experience 5+ years as a Senior or Deputy Chief Accountant;
• Experience with SAP;
• Excellent knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel;
• Good command of English;
• University degree in Accounting or Finance.
