The platform processes high volumes of data and requires reliable, secure, and scalable architecture to support real-time financial operations.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and evolution of a high-performance backend platform.

In this role, you will define architectural standards, guide system design decisions, and work closely with engineering teams to ensure the platform can scale reliably in a high-load, real-time environment. You will collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to design secure, resilient, and maintainable systems.

This position is ideal for engineers who combine strong hands-on backend experience with architectural thinking and enjoy solving complex system design challenges.

Responsibilities:

Design and evolve the architecture of scalable backend services and real-time communication systems Define architectural standards, technical guidelines, and best practices across the engineering team Lead system design discussions and provide technical direction for complex features Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of distributed systems Work closely with engineering teams to guide implementation and maintain architectural consistency Review architecture decisions related to APIs, messaging, and real-time data communication Collaborate with DevOps on infrastructure design and system resilience Support engineers in solving complex technical challenges and production issues

Requirements:

Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production systems Proven experience designing scalable distributed systems Experience working with microservices architectures Hands-on experience with gRPC, Kafka, and WebSockets Strong understanding of real-time systems and asynchronous communication Experience working with Docker and containerized environments Strong system design and architectural thinking Excellent problem-solving and technical decision-making skills Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AWS or cloud-based infrastructure Knowledge of MySQL, Redis, or PostgreSQL Experience working on crypto, fintech, or trading platforms Familiarity with React / Next.js ecosystems Experience building high-throughput or low-latency systems
