For our trusted client, an established manufacturing company, we are looking for: Chief Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Organizing, planning, managing, and controlling the overall financial and accounting activities of the company in accordance with the requirements of Bulgarian legislation and internal rules;
• Monitoring and implementing changes in the regulatory framework;
• Managing accountant team;
• Responsible for the timely preparation of VAT and Intrastat records, as well as compliance with all legal requirements and deadlines;
• Monitoring the correct accounting of commercial transactions and the correct preparation of accounting documents;
• Organizes the preparation of reports and statements for management purposes;
• Participates in the processing of primary and secondary financial and accounting documents;
• Performs systematic analysis of the company's financial condition and financial results;
• Monitors and applies changes in the provisions of applicable tax legislation;
• Works with auditors, communicates with the National Revenue Agency, the National Social Security Institute, banks, and other institutions.
• Prepares and signs monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and analyses.

Requirements:

• Higher education in economics in the field;
• Knowledge of IFRS;
• Knowledge of the National Accounting Standards, VAT Act, Social Security Code, Corporate Income Tax Act, Business Travel Regulations, Labor Code, etc.;
• Proven experience in the field;
• Good computer literacy and fluent use of office software.
