Mission of the position:

The mission of the role is to direct and lead all activities in the manufacturing plant within the scope of company policies and to attain the objectives established in the plant budget/plan in full, safely, efficiently and in respect of the environment protection requirements, and as per company product quality specifications. Implement and transfer group philosophy, mission, vision, values, policies. Implement company strategies in alignment with HQ directives, to reach the group overall targets in Bulgaria.

Main responsibilities:

Ensures the attainment of plant production plans, investment plans according to budgets and forecasts. Overall responsibility for the development, execution and follow up of the plant budget. Direct and lead all operations to achieve monthly profit results with a focus on operations throughput Provide leadership to all aspects of the manufacturing operations. Coordinates the execution of manufacturing schedules based on demand requirements and plant capacity. Facilitate, coach, counsel and guide the manufacturing work team to ensure they can deliver year over year the best results. Controls, analyses and monitors quality standards and ensures these standards are respected during production process. Assures performance of established goals and objectives is met at lowest cost and highest quality by leading, monitoring and controlling project, plans and schedules for improvement, ensuring process completion within set time, budget and quality expectations. Strive for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to ensure efficiencies and eliminate waste, and implement such plans through people, processes, procedures, discipline and equipment Guarantees compliance to EHS standards, all local and central rules and regulations, establishes contact with authorities, public bodies, community and other stakeholders and represents the company before them as needed. Meet Financial Objectives and Goals by forecasting requirements, follows up financial reporting processes and cost controls and supports the annual budget process. Manages a team of people through coaching and mentoring, feedback-giving and receiving, taking care of personal development and following up on the development of their teams, regular performance evaluation, disciplining and promoting and other measures. Reports directly to Group Operations Director.

Key Requirements:

Min. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience as a Plant Manager / Production Manager in mid-sized manufacturing companies. Senior responsibility experience in a multicultural/multinational environment would be a strong advantage. English: proficient level. MS Office, ERP, proficiency in online working applications and too. Practical experience with EHS issues, Quality Management Systems, Lean Management and similar.
