Here’s What You’ll Do

As a QA Engineer for Publisher Integrations, you'll support the Publisher Management (PuMa) team by validating third-party integrations, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining clear technical documentation. This role involves independent testing, cross-team collaboration, and ensuring a reliable, scalable integration ecosystem.

Here is how you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and success of our publisher integrations - by focusing on technical accuracy and quality of publisher integrations.

• Test new publisher integrations based on contractual and technical requirements.
• Interpret browser network traffic, tracking payloads, and frontend logic to identify and analyze integration errors.
• Query SQL databases and utilize BI reporting tools like Looker to analyse data, identifying trends and inconsistencies.
• Provide structured test reports with clear pass/fail criteria and guidance on required fixes.
• Act as a contact point for publisher tech teams and internal PuMa stakeholders, sharing your knowledge about integrations, helping clarify requirements, troubleshoot integration issues, and guide next steps.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve testing processes, documentation standards, and integration validation workflows for publisher onboarding.
• Collaborate with the engineering teams behind our publisher-facing components (e.g. SDKs, widget) to align on expected behavior and known issues.
• Manage and improve our technical documentation, including walkthroughs, FAQs, code snippets, and short videos.
• Communicate clearly and proactively, ensuring status updates, blockers, and test results are well-documented and traceable, minimizing the need for follow-ups.
• Prioritize work based on partner importance, revenue potential, integration deadlines, and customer campaign impact — jointly agreed with the PuMa team.
• Support other QA projects as needed, contributing to the broader QA function across the company.

What You Bring Along

• You’re an experienced QA or technical support professional who knows how to test integrations in real-world conditions, and who thrives on making complex things work simply and reliably.
• Web Technologies: Strong technical understanding of how web integrations work: DOM structure, JavaScript. Proficiency in using browser developer tools, interpreting network requests ((e.g. tracking pixels, API responses), debugging frontend logic, and validating tracking payloads.
• API Testing: Experience with APIs, including using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or scripting (e.g. cURL).
• Mobile Context: Familiarity with mobile application testing concepts and tools (e.g., emulators/simulators, proxy tools like Charles Proxy for traffic inspection).
• Data Validation: Strong data validation skills, with an ability to meticulously check data against specifications.
• Proactive and self-directed working style.
• Quantitative Analysis: Comfortable working with numerical data, interpreting reports and dashboards to identify discrepancies and validate figures.
• Analytical mind.
• Enthusiastic about documentation and information quality.
• AI Tools: Familiarity with leveraging generative AI tools for tasks (e.g. test data generation, learning technology and systems, documentation assistance, summarizing complex information), and an understanding of their potential benefits and limitations.
• Problem-solving.
• Fluent English is required.
