Maintenance Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance department in our manufacturing plant. The person in this role will organize and oversee all activities related to maintenance of production equipment, utilities, and facilities. The Maintenance Manager will ensure optimal equipment performance, minimize downtime, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and organize the maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage repairs, installations, and upkeep of production systems and utilities.
• Monitor and ensure the operational efficiency of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, working closely with production teams.
• Develop and control the maintenance department’s budget together with the Plant Director and Finance team.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, safety procedures, and equipment inventory.
• Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies within the department.
• Ensure training, certification, and performance evaluation of maintenance personnel.
• Collaborate with other departments and management on technical and operational issues.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs and support continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical background in electrical or electronic systems.
• Solid experience with preventive maintenance and reliability programs.
• Experience managing teams, budgets, and costs.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety policies and practices in production.

Experience working in an international or multicultural environment is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Advanced computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is an asset.
