AMKmotion is a developer and manufacturer of electric drive systems and sees itself as a long-term partner in the field of industrial mechanical and plant engineering. The company was founded in 1963 as AMK Arnold Müller GmbH & Co. KG and has been part of the Arburg family since 2021. AMKmotion employs around 500 people at three production sites: two in Germany and one in Bulgaria. The subsidiary and production site in Gabrovo, Bulgaria has around 130 employees and is specialized in the manufacture of drive motors and drive solutions, including software development. HEAD OF OPERATIONS The tasks: The position holder reports to the managing director/CEO at the location and should also be able to deputize him in the future. He is in charge of production and all related technical departments.
The main tasks in detail ✓ Professional and disciplinary leading and further development of the approx. 100 employees ✓ Control and assurance of production in terms of cost-effectiveness, adherence to deadlines and quality ✓ Regular analysis of existing processes and standards regarding optimization potential, initiation of appropriate measures and support of their implementation ✓ Support the upcoming roll-out of the new ERP software system (SAP S/4HANA) ✓ Participation in the procurement of machinery and equipment in an international environment.
The requirement profile ✓ Education: technical apprenticeship or master's degree, ideally as engineer ✓ Professional experience as a segment or production manager ✓ Knowledge of the organization and improvement of production processes ✓ Good MS Office knowledge, especially Excel, preferably SAP ✓ Languages: Bulgarian, German or English ✓ Personality:
