Job Responsibility

• Planning and execution of supplier audits according to VDA 6.3 at national and international level
• Handle and coordinate supplier quality issues within the MD group (Maintain and track Supplier COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality))
• Responsibility for supplier quality issues in accordance with valid MD escalation model
• Supplier complaint management incl. cost negotiations
• Negotiating QAAs and target agreements with suppliers
• Assistance with internal IATF 16949 certification audits
• Participation in customer process audits for the specialist supplier quality tasks
• Coordinating and determining the scope of sampling with suppliers, as well as reviewing the documentation provided and storage first sample
• Issue/reject product and process release for purchased parts
• Use of international quality methods such as FMEA, Ishikawa, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
• Collaboration in the simultaneous engineering team for preventive quality assurance (acquisition phase to series handover) according to MD specifications
• Supplier Evaluation (annualy), analysis and reporting on achieving the quality key performance standards (KPIs) as set by the Management for the Supplier and definition and implementation of improvement measures, if necessary
• Responsible for communication with Suppliers. Initiation and establishment of the quality circles (MD & Suppliers) and corresponding reviews
• Monitoring supplier performance to ensure that they are meeting quality standards and deadlines and support Supplier Evaluation
• Develop suppliers in case of supplier quality problems according to the internal escalation model (supplier development program)

Qualification & Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3 - 5 years of work experience in relevant area

• VDA 6.3
• Automotive Core Tools
• Knowledge of negotiation techniques
• Knowledge of moderation methods
• Knowledge and interpretation of technical drawings and internal/ external standards
• QM specific software and tools
• MS Office
• SAP (preferably)
• Fluent English
