SOFTWARE TEST ARCHITECT IN IAAS DOMAIN (m/f/d)

The impact you will create:
Establish testing governance, driving a "shift-left" culture, and building robust, automated test structures
Optimizing CI/CD pipelines, enhancing code coverage, and ensuring high product quality through optimal test engineering.
Test Strategy & Governance: Define and maintain clear rules and boundaries for our test frameworks to ensure consistency and eliminate redundant testing setups.
Shift-Left Implementation: Restructure test execution to shift testing earlier in the development lifecycle and dependency chain, catching defects before they reach staging environments.
Infrastructure Engineering: Build reusable testing primitives and automated scaffolding to enable developers to provision and OpenStack and internal API test environments efficiently.
Automated Evaluation: Replace manual analysis with automated test reporting and evaluation tools to ensure scalable, reliable feedback loops.
Pipeline Optimization: Design efficient test suites that improve meaningful code coverage while minimizing pipeline execution time and resource consumption.
Experience and skills you will need:
Extensive experience in designing and implementing test architectures for complex software systems.
Deep expertise in CI/CD methodology and "shift-left" testing principles.
Solid understanding of OpenStack and API concepts to build effective test primitives.
Proven ability to optimize test coverage vs. execution time.
Experience in coding and scripting (e.g., Python, Go) for test automation and infrastructure management.
