CLOUD NETWORK ENGINEER (m/f/d)

The impact you will create:

You will support the development of a high-performance cloud platform based on OpenStack, with a focus on networking (e.g., Neutron, OVS/OVN, Arista, Calico). Take responsibility for the surrounding system landscape (e.g., Kubernetes, Nginx, BGP).

You will conduct detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify sustainable solutions.

You will ensure efficient automation and continuous optimization of technical process workflows.

You will create and maintain professional documentation, as well as integrate monitoring and logging to ensure stable platform operations.

You will be part of a motivated team that continuously strives for improvements and evolves both individually and collectively.

Experience and skills you will need:

You have hands-on experience with Software Defined Networking technologies such as OVS/OVN and Calico.

You have solid experience with Linux and Kubernetes, and keep up to date with new developments in these areas.

You have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a structured approach to diagnosing and resolving issues.

You have experience in programming and scripting in C/C++, Python or Bash.

You have worked with virtualization and containerization environments and understand their practical applications.
