Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research, create wireframes, and develop prototypes to improve user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless design implementation.
- Optimize user flows and interactions to enhance usability and engagement.
- Maintain design consistency through the development of design systems and style guides.
- Apply accessibility best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Work closely with front-end developers to translate designs into functional web components.Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications, with a proven track record of leading design projects. With Portfolio or site examples.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing.Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to lead UI/UX initiatives and drive design strategies in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) practices and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) principles.
- Experience in the financial technology sector or hedge fund environments.
- Familiarity with design systems, atomic design principles, and responsive design.
- Strong ability to analyze user behavior and translate insights into actionable design solutions.
- Experience in web development, including front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
