Transport and customs agent

Responsibilities:

• Manages all transportation activities related to LBG operations – booking of inbound from suppliers and outbound transportation towards customers – AIRBUS, Latecoere France, Latecoere Czech Republic, Latecoere Interconnection, etc.
• Manages all documentation flows related to transportation – invoices, transport orders, shipping and reception documents. Allocates the cost per projects and reports to management and finance.
• Keeps close relation and contact with transport providers. Develops relations in collaborative manner. Monitors their performance and operational activity. Creates and follows actions plans in case of low performance.
• Collaborate and communicate with all departments – Warehouse, Program planning and coordination, Procurement, Finance, Manufacturing engineering, Production, Etc.
• Manages all activities related to customs – import, export, documentation gathering and communication with Customs agency, Customs representatives, government officials etc. Focal point for all import and export operations. Responsible for proper management and documentation of the activity.
• Manages, analyses data and KPIs (OTD, Costs and budget adherence, etc.). Makes reports related to the transport and customs activities. Find opportunities for improvement. Manages and leads actions plants. Develops new KPIs.
• Monitors, reports and analyze all the cost related to the transport and customs activity.
• Ensures all Latecoere internal rules are applied and adhered.
• Participates in projects related to the development and improvement of the activity.
• Responsible for trouble and crisis resolutions and actions plans management.

Requirements:

• University Education;
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar field (supply chain, transportation, customs management);
• Familiar with Microsoft office (Excel, Word);
• English language is mandatory;
• Familiar with Microsoft office (Excel, Word);
• Familiar with ERP systems procurement module /SAP preferably/;
• Self-disciplined and able to carry out detailed work with minimum supervision;
• Excellent and proven communication skills and ability to establish rapport and sound relationships within and outside the company.
• Able to establish relationships based on trust, confidentiality, and integrity;
• Proactive problem solver;
• A dynamic performer;
• Willing to learn;
• Hands-on, diligent and fast and effective troubleshooting.
