We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join one of our clients— a global leader in providing fundamental analysis, data, and advisory services across the energy markets, including oil, natural gas, LNG, NGLs, and emerging energy markets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with oil & gas analysts to understand, document, and map data sources,
- Analyze and translate analyst-created data logic into clear business rules, workflows, and
- Create data flow diagrams, process maps, and supporting documentation to capture
- Partner with the development and data engineering teams to support automation,
- Act as a bridge between business users (analysts) and technical teams, ensuring business
- Help define data quality checks and validation steps to ensure integrity of analytical
- Define and track key process metrics (e.g., turnaround time, data error rate, manual
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and change management during deployment of
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and greater automation.
- Experience as a Business Analyst with a strong technical edge — particularly in working
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex SQL queries and legacy data logic.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — you're not afraid to ask
- Background in consultancy, data, or energy is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Bonus points if you’re curious about AI and automation in data workflows.
- Knowledge of oil & gas data (e.g., production, supply/demand, pricing) is a nice-to-have,
