For our client, we are looking for a Team Lead Accounts Payable with German to join their growing finance team in Sofia. This is a great opportunity for an experienced AP professional to take on a role that combines strong operational responsibility with coordination of processes and support within the team in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily Accounts Payable operations;
• Ensure accurate processing of invoices, accruals, and general ledger postings;
• Support month-end closing and reporting activities;
• Act as escalation point for complex AP cases;
• Coordinate workload and support team development;
• Contribute to process optimization and efficiency improvements.

Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in Accounting / Accounts Payable;
• Strong knowledge of GL, accruals, and accounting processes;
• Experience with month-end closing activities;
• Previous experience in mentoring or coordinating team members is an advantage;
• Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented working style;
• Fluent German (C1/C2) and proficient in English.
