Systems Engineer
We are looking to hire a Mid-To-Senior Level Systems Engineer to help with the support, administration, and maintenance of business-critical systems for one of our main US-based clients in the financial industry.

These activities require frequent communication with related internal and external parties both verbally and written. Incoming workloads are received through an internal ticketing system, and their implementation is done in line with pre-defined change, request, and incident management processes.

Job Role:

Job Responsibilities:
- Working directly with technicians, engineers, business users, and vendors to identify and resolve technology incidents in varying environments.
- Handling team ticket queues for requests, incidents, and change requests.
- Investigation, troubleshooting, and RCA for issues related to business systems.
- Providing support to both internal and external technical teams.
- Perform health checks of the business environment.
- Monitor and maintain system availability, including backend infrastructure.
- Configure backend infrastructure for newly developed applications.
- Support both production and non-production environments.
- Properly document standard processes and technical efforts.
- 15% documentation of technology into knowledge-based articles used to transfer knowledge to the rest of the team.
- 50% troubleshooting, fulfilling, and resolving incoming tasks and incidents.
- 20% assisting and completing tasks for ongoing projects.
- 15% advising, training, or mentoring other team members.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT Operations field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft-based systems, Windows server. (2012 and up) and desktop OS (XP, 7, 8, 10, 11), Microsoft products and practices.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal in both Bulgarian and English languages.
- Good documentation skills – ability to produce quality documents and updates to tasks.
- Good understanding of how software systems and IT infrastructure work.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft-based environments.
- Understanding of virtual technologies and experience with virtual machines.
- Experience with PowerShell or other CLIs.
- Experience with hybrid infrastructure is a plus (on-prem to Azure).
- System health checks and status reporting.

- Focus on Collaboration environment and AI (Teams, SharePoint, and Co-pilot)

- Data Protection management (specifically Rubrik).
- Storage System (SAN and NAS) management (specifically NetApp and Pure).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to verbally communicate and describe technical issues to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to document, summarize, and note technical architecture and concepts into knowledge articles, incident management systems, etc.
- Ability to conduct thorough problem analysis and identify potential solutions.
