System Engineer

We are looking for: System Engineer

We are looking for new talent with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and trends.

Your daily routine would include:

• Working with internal customers to identify and define requirements for new solutions;
• Improving and configuring the application functionality to meet business needs;
• Working closely with Business Analysts to deliver quality software releases;
• Performing tasks in Windows corporate environment;
• Development and configuration of Inventory Operational Support Systems (OSS);
• Supporting of OSS production systems and platforms;
• Coordinating non-standard solutions with users and internal development units;
• Automation and orchestration of operational tasks;
• Root cause analysis of resolved issues;
• On-call duties per schedule.

We’ll know you can make it if you have:

• Previous experience in application development;
• Experience with Java (based on JDK 1.8);
• Ability to read and write Java code;
• Experience with version control system and IDE;
• Experience in bug fixing and features development;
• Experience working with Linux OS;
• Experience with Jira/Atlassian products;
• Ability to write SQL queries, procedures and functions in Oracle Database;
• Networking knowledge;
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Nice to have:

• Telecommunications background or knowledge in transport, radio, core networks;
• Experience with Netcracker application or other inventory management system.
