About the Role: Our client, a leading provider of hosting services specializing in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), is seeking a System Administrator to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of virtual machines, troubleshooting network issues, and providing comprehensive technical support for their VDI services. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and thrive in a client-facing role with clear communication across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients through phone, email, ticketing systems, WhatsApp, and Telegram.
• Process requests for new virtual machines and troubleshoot related issues.
• Analyze and resolve basic server and network-related problems.
• Set up VPN access for clients when requested.
• Install and maintain software on virtual machines.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in Technical Support.
• Strong English communication skills (both written and spoken).
• Experience with VMware vSphere and Terminal Server is a plus.
• Proficient in network troubleshooting, virtual machine management, and server maintenance.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time efficiently in a shift-based work environment.
• Weekend availability (shift work schedules will be provided for the month in advance).

Shift Information: The position is fully office-based and operates on a shift schedule. The first shift starts at 6:00 AM, and the last shift ends at 9:00 PM, with schedules provided in advance for the entire month. While flexibility is required, including possible weekend shifts, you will have plenty of time to talk about shift preferences and any changes with the company.
