MULTIVAC Bulgaria Production is looking for an organized and responsible specialist for the position:

Software developer PLC

Your tasks:

• Development automation software according to IEC 61131 for our machines and lines;
• Programming and design of user interface software;
• Creation and optimization of standardized software packages;
• Commissioning of machines and systems, as well as setting up controls and interfaces to other devices;
• Cross-divisional cooperation with R&D, engineering and assembly;
• Support of the service department and helpdesks in case of need.

Your profile:

• Completed studies in one of the following fields: automation technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering/information technology, mechanical engineering, technical computer science or comparable studies;
• Knowledge of control programming according to IEC 61131-3, structured text, preferably based on - Beckhoff TwinCAT;
• Initial experience in software development for control systems in mechanical engineering;
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming would be considered as an advantage;
• Language ability: English is a must or/and German will be an advantage;
• First experience with GIT, Azure and SVN would be considered as an advantage;
• Clear understanding of virtualization technology - Docker containers, Virtual machines, Citrix;
• Basic knowledge of the Linux environment and infrastructure;
• Distinct ability to work in a team as well as reliable and structured way of working.
