For one of our clients, one of the world's leading providers of packaging solutions for all types of food products, we are seeking a Software Developer PLC

Key Responsibilities:

• Development automation software according to IEC 61131 for our machines and lines;
• Programming and design of user interface software;
• Creation and optimization of standardized software packages;
• Commissioning of machines and systems, as well as setting up controls and interfaces to other devices;
• Cross-divisional cooperation with R&D, engineering and assembly;
• Support of the service department and helpdesks in case of need;

Qualifications:

• Completed studies in one of the following fields: automation technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering/information technology, mechanical engineering, technical computer science or comparable studies;
• Fluent in English (German is an advantage);
• Initial experience in software development for control systems in mechanical engineering;
• First experience with GIT, Azure and SVN would be considered as an advantage;
