We are seeking a motivated Service Manager with a strong interest in ESG Services in the context of regulatory compliance for financial institutions and skills in the area of Product Ownership and Management. The successful candidate will support the team in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, assisting in product development, and providing valuable regulatory and financial insights.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting business analysis and support strategic decisions and product development with a focus on sustainability-related regulatory requirements and data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
  • Take ownership of product management of the RegTech services and acquire expertise in the relevant business domain.
  • Help translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
  • Manage the planning and on-time implementation of product features.
  • Monitor and manage issues that put the delivery schedule at risk.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes impacting financial institutions with emphasis on ESG regulations in the EU and UK.
  • Organize and proactively expand product documentation.
  • Interact with multiple business and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Have strong client focus and support managing client expectations.
  • Assist in quality assurance and testing processes of new product features.
  • Effectively organize and manage the day-to-day tasks and proactively communicate with team stakeholders.
  • Define specifications in the form of technical details and/or Excel-based calculations.
  • Ability to understand and work with sustainability-related data (e.g., ESG indicators, Principal Adverse Impacts, or disclosure datasets), or willingness to learn.


Requirements

  • Experience in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technologies or related field.
  • Interest in the financial sector to support large financial institutions in banking, insurance, or asset management to fulfill regulatory regulations (FinTech & RegTech).
  • Interest in ESG and Sustainability regulations and their impact on financial institutions.
  • Willingness to learn how ESG data, ratings, and sustainability indicators are used in banking, asset management, and insurance.
  • Understanding Business Analysis or Requirement Engineering processes.
  • Interest in Product Management / Product Ownership and understanding of agile methodologies of product development.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical thinking with good presentation skills.
  • Active listener who can understand and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and willingness to expand responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence).
  • Fluency in English. German is a strong plus.
