Responsibilities:

Team orientation

• Leverage previous knowledge gained while helping ship multiple products within a SaaS product environment
• Be a UX craft expert who can easily explain design concepts and decisions to Smartly.io stakeholders and design leads
• Project and process management
• Plan strategically as a partner with engineering, product and brand to define the future of our design system
• Leverage / understand user journeys intersecting product areas which may have an impact on cross-domain topics originating from various product areas within the Platform
• Understand the design process: Discover, Design, Deliver and how each phase of project maturity is supported by design artifacts and problem-solving
• Manage / partner with the Design team for production, design direction and fulfilling Engineering requirements for “ready to ship” needs
• Effectively communicate with peers and stakeholders to err on the side of transparency
• Work with Product Designers and Engineers to iterate on and refine solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in design
• Experience in creating huge design systems, and ability to handle possible blockers to complete a design task
• Proactiveness and strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and collaboration mindset within the project team
• Significant experience designing and delivering web and mobile world-class digital experiences
• Proven experience in workshop facilitation and conducting Design thinking workshops Experience with generative and evaluative research methods
• Deep understanding of fundamental visual, interactive design disciplines and principles, accessibility guidelines
• Experience working and creating project briefs, user flow diagrams, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, project planning documentation and milestones, interaction design documentation, design systems/style guides, micro-interaction design
• Strong portfolio that shows the design process and results
• Solid time management and prioritization skills to handle schedules in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
• Technical background and experience in SAAS projects
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to handle possible blockers to complete a design task
• Experience working in an agile environment, tight deadlines and changing priorities
• At least Upper -Intermediate level of English
