About Us Cash Credit is a growing financial services company operating in a fast-moving and regulated environment. Our business depends on reliable technology, secure systems, and strong operational execution. We are now looking for a Senior System Administrator to help manage and gradually modernize our existing infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring stability today while helping prepare the business for tomorrow.
The Role You will take ownership of a mixed and legacy IT environment that supports daily business operations. Some systems are older but remain business-critical over the next 12 months, so we need someone experienced, practical, and calm under pressure. You will also support office hardware, user environments, and internal IT operations while contributing to our future cloud journey (primarily AWS). This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving real problems, keeping systems running, and improving environments over time.

Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Servers Manage, maintain, monitor, patch, troubleshoot, and improve a mixed environment including:
- Windows Server 2008 R2
- Performance and uptime monitoring
- OS patching and upgrades
- Access management
- Backup and recovery
- Troubleshooting incidents
- Capacity planning
- Documentation
- Laptops and desktop computers
- Printers and scanners
- Local networks and Wi-Fi
- Routers, switches, modems
- POS devices
- Peripherals and accessories
- User workstation setup / replacements
Security & Access
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and policies
- Support endpoint security and patch compliance
- Maintain VPN access and secure connectivity
- Assist with IT audits and internal controls
- Ensure backups and recovery readiness
Cloud & Modernization (Secondary Focus)
- Support future migration planning toward Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Help identify systems suitable for migration or retirement
- Improve automation and infrastructure standards
- Participate in future cloud operations as environment evolves
Must Have
- 3+ years experience in Systems Administration / Infrastructure roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server environments
- Experience supporting legacy systems in production environments
- Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu / CentOS)
- Networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers)
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and office IT support
- Experience with backups, recovery, and monitoring tools
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and take ownership
- Good spoken and written English
Nice to Have
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Virtualization experience (VMware / Hyper-V / Proxmox)
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience in fintech, banking, or regulated industries
- Microsoft / AWS / Cisco certifications
