It is renowned for its business model that is built on almost full production circularity (96,5%), which makes Monbat a real long-lasting player in the circularity economy, years before this became trendy.
The core business of Monbat (lead-acid batteries) provides the ground for Monbat to innovate and diversify in technology constantly. This additionally triggered Monbat Group's exponential growth in many business-related domains across continents, represented by companies that are locally managed and strategically steered by Monbat HQs. STRATEGIC PMO DEPARTMENT
All that diversity and complexity has to be managed in a holistic and innovative way. Thus, Monbat Group a long time ago designated separate attention to the Monbat strategic ambitions by structuring a separate Strategic Program Management Office reporting directly to the Monbat Group COO. The PMO office acts as a hub organization nesting all different business demands for growth, innovation, delivery excellence, performance management, and much more. The PMO is orchestrating and steering Monbat Group's business strategy and managing a vast portfolio of all types of business and CAPEX projects. PMO office is also acting as the internal consulting arm for designing and enabling a successful delivery and change management of these very diverse project portfolios.
In light of the constantly expanding business activities, Monbat is looking for a new member to support the Strategic PMO unit.
POSITION OBJECTIVE The Senior Financial Modeling Specialist has a strong background in finance, accounting, and financial analysis, with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining complex financial models for evaluating projects, budgets, business scenarios, and investment decisions. The role supports forecasting, impact analysis, and strategic decision-making. The Specialist collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation, process optimization, and the creation of reliable models that support executive-level decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. STRATEGY AND BUSINESS MODELLING
- Internal Clients Engagement & Discovery - analyze existing business models, customer journeys, and market landscapes to identify areas for improvement or innovation;
- Collect and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform business design decisions;
- Value creation strategy origination – Facilitate the development of actionable, insight-driven business strategies that integrate the Group and Strategic Business Units' goals demonstrating a good command of design thinking principles;
- Business Modelling in a close loop with financial modelling;
- Cross-functional Collaboration including external SMEs, marketers, product managers, and data analysts to co-create innovative solutions;
- Prototyping & Testing - lead rapid prototyping and testing of business solutions through pilot programs or simulations to assess their viability;
- Business Design Communication
2. PERFORMANCE AND FINANCIAL MODELLING
- Business Case Development;
- Financial modeling – integrated view on P&L, Balance Sheet and DCF;
- Risk Assessment & Sensitivity Analysis on key financial drivers (e.g., revenue growth, cost structure) to assess the risk and uncertainty in forecasts;
- Reporting & Presentation papers
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in building financial models
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Budgeting and planning expertise
- Experience in working with large data sets and translating them into structured models
- Preparation of management reporting and decision-support materials
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in Power point
- Experience in BI tools will be considered as advantage
- Experience with ERP systems will be considered as advantage (e.g., SAP)
- Design Thinking capabilities – empathy, ideation, prototyping, iteration
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Collaborative mindset and project management acumen
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage
Experience:
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in financial modeling
- Experience in managing projects will be considered as advantage
WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (e.g., internal workshops, site visits)
