For one of our clients— specialized in cloud-based filtering and threat protection services —we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

The Senior Software Engineer must bring deep expertise in Windows development and demonstrate the ability to create robust, secure, and scalable software solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our roaming client software, designed to operate seamlessly on hundreds of thousands of Windows machines. With a focus on security, you will help ensure our clients effectively filter traffic and block potential threats or malicious sites. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, a strong curiosity for solving complex challenges, and the ability to collaborate within Agile-driven, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Be a key member of the Roaming Clients team working on our windows client

Applications.

• Build, modify, and support applications implemented using languages such as C#, .Net,

PowerShell.

• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
• You will contribute to the improvement of the development and deployment processes

ensuring that we continuously evolve to be better.

• You will demonstrate strong ownership of your projects to their delivery.

Key skills:

• 7+ years of experience as Software Engineer developing and maintaining applications for

Windows.

• Proficiency in languages C#, .Net, PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Windows applications development.
• Knowledge of debugging techniques and multithreading.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and beyond (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
• Knowledge of developing C# applications that interact with Windows networking stack.
• Proficiency with running traffic captures (Wireshark), gathering logs, & preparing data for reporting.
• Understanding of intricacies of different versions of Windows OS system.
• Experience developing and maintaining scripts (PowerShell, Python, Shell).
• Experience using Git or other code versioning tools.
• Knowledge and experience in all aspects of SDLC.
• Experience working remotely under minimal supervision.
• Passion for product quality and attention to details.
• A strong commitment to collaborative work in a remote environment.
• The ability to keep work hours that overlap with 8am - 12pm EST time zone, M-F.
