For one of our clients—specialized in cloud-based filtering and threat protection services —we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

The Senior Software Engineer must bring specialized expertise in macOS and iOS development, with a focus on creating high-performance, secure, and scalable software solutions. In this role, you will be an integral part of the team developing roaming client software for Apple devices, including MacBooks, iPhones, and iPads. These clients operate on hundreds of thousands of machines, providing robust security by filtering traffic and effectively blocking potential threats or malicious sites. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, a passion for solving complex technical challenges, and the ability to collaborate within Agile-driven, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Be a key member of the Roaming Clients team working on our macOS and iOS client

аpplications.

• Build, modify and support applications implemented using languages such as GO, Swift,

Objective-C.

• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
• You will contribute to the improvement of the development and deployment processes.

• You will demonstrate strong ownership of your projects to their delivery.

Key skills:

• 5+ years of experience as Software Engineer developing and maintaining applications for

macOS and iOS.

• Knowledge of programming macOS applications, System Extension (SEXT), Network Extensions and the communication with the user space.
• Knowledge of macOS development tools (e.g., XCode, etc).
• Knowledge of debugging techniques.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and beyond (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
• Proficiency in macOS starting from macOS 11.7 (Big Sur) and above.
• Experience using Git or other code versioning tools.
• Experience with one or more Mobile Device Management Platforms (MDMs) tools for Apple

ecosystem (e.g. JAMF, Mosyle, etc.).

• Knowledge and experience in all aspects of SDLC.
• Experience working remotely under minimal supervision.
• Passion for product quality and attention to details.
• A strong commitment to collaborative work in a remote environment.
• The ability to keep work hours that overlap with 8am - 12pm EST time zone, M-F.
