The role We are looking for experienced Senior Server Engineer with operational and engineering background who can drive reliability and performance across the stack.

As a Senior Server Engineer for the Global Server team , you will have the opportunity to tackle complex problems of scale which are unique to tech companies while using your expertise in delivery and support of critical services.

This is an operational role and you will be leading a team of Windows, Storage and Backup administrators and Managers responsible for providing day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support

What you need to have is?

5+ years in Server Administration role in a large physical and virtual environment required. 4+ years’ experience in SAN administration experience or equivalent (NetApps) (preferred) Experience operating within a large complex server and application environment with greater than 200 servers Deep knowledge in best practice of Servers Farm Management, Patch management Proven experience with Enterprise Backup Platforms. (VMware, Active Directory, SQL, Oracle Databases) Active Directory, DNS, DHCP experience, specifically: domain upgrades, domain migration, configuring and troubleshooting domain trust, replications; Active directory – configuring and maintaining AD, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy, Datacenter experience such as server mounting and installation for Rack and Blade Servers Hands on with miscellaneous system administrator duties. Experience in basic networking is a must. Experience working with larger international organizations will be preferred. MCITP and Bachelor’s Engineer Degree in Computer Science or IT or equivalent

Responsibilities?

Management, and administration of VMWARE & Hyper-V & Nutanix AHV hypervisors. Management, and administration storage, Ensure back-up and recovery procedures are followed Provide comprehensive Level- 3 support in managing critical servers, services in a Wintel environment Identify & develop scripts using various scripting languages (Python, PowerShell etc) for automating manual tasks Expected to work in a global team environment and ensure processes & procedures are implemented and followed. Provision, Maintain operating systems for all Windows servers and clusters. Participates in BCP / DR drills. Perform capacity planning and performance tuning to prevent issues and minimize service disruptions. Compile and maintain daily, weekly, monthly yearly processes and procedures. Ability to be self-directed, able to focus on personal assignments while remaining part of a larger team with proven ability to multi-task. Work on Project activities which include installation and configuration of new applications, servers and migration activities. Monitor actual deliverable deadlines against scheduled completion dates.
