Responsibilities

• Be part of cleversoft’s high-performing, international Engineering team as a full-time member;
• Build new features and enhancements and improve existing ones on JVM-based software solutions;
• Assist other teammates by performing code reviews and mentoring;
• Develop architectural concepts and play an active role in shaping the cleversoft software suite;
• Take the initiative to improve existing processes and solutions;
• You will work on multiple client solutions and an expanding portfolio of standard software solutions.

Requirements

Essential:

Experience with the Java programming language in a professional environment; Knowledge in object-oriented principles and data structures and algorithms; Experience with Git; Experience with JavaScript; Fluent written and spoken English; Experience with relational databases/SQL and API implementations following industry standards like REST; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Attention to detail; Experience with JPA; Experience with the Scrum methodology.

Desirable:

• Experience with JVM troubleshooting (e.g. heap dump analysis and performances profiling);
• Passion for learning new technologies and delivering high quality software that meets business requirements;
• Experience with Kotlin;
• Experience with React.js;
• Experience with a Java EE framework and server.
