Join our dynamic AI Product Lab in the Media Team at Smartly as a Fullstack Software Engineer! We are on a mission to revolutionize the marketing industry by empowering marketers to optimize their budgets effectively.

As a valued member of our self-organizing development team, you will have the autonomy to shape our roadmap and select the best technologies for each project. You’ll collaborate closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, product managers and our customers, including the world’s largest online marketers.

Our technology-agnostic approach allows us to continuously adapt and choose the most efficient tools for the job. We build our products utilizing an on-premise Kubernetes cluster that runs our React frontend and NodeJS backend. They provide user interfaces to our ML workflows that are implemented in Python as serverless / AWS-based solutions. We’re eager to have you on board to help us innovate and expand our high-impact applications.

What you will deal with:

• Work with your team to provide our customers with valuables products and features;
• Build and maintain backend services that sit at the core of Smartly.io’s SaaS campaign optimization;
• Build and maintain an easy to use frontend for our optimization features;
• Support data scientists in bringing their machine learning models to production and operating them there;
• Continuously improve our code quality by following software development best practices;
• Continuously grow your skills and responsibilities to achieve.

What we expect from you:

• Have several years of experience full-stack developing distributed systems in a modern service-oriented architecture – ideally in building data science products;
• Have several years of experience with the most important parts of our technology stack:TypeScript, React, Python, AWS;
• Can work effectively and efficiently in large codebases incl. monorepos;
• Are eager to work with modern AI technologies and learn everything you need to know so that you can utilize these in our products;
• Are a fast learner.
