Grove Global Consult is a leading consulting and recruitment agency dedicated to serving the global private sector. We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Full-stack Web Developer to join one of our prestigious clients.

About the Role:

As a Senior Full-stack Web Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of new software products and enhancing existing ones. You will collaborate closely with the company’s CEO and lead the implementation of sales funnels. Additionally, you will guide and mentor junior developers, ensuring the ongoing support and maintenance of the website and its components. Your ability to apply creative thinking and problem-solving skills will be essential in building advanced end-user products and developing robust back-end technology architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Development Projects: Spearhead the creation of new software products and optimize existing ones
• Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the company CEO to modernize the video streaming platform
• Guide Junior Developers: Implement sales funnels and mentor junior developers in website maintenance and support
• Innovate and Solve Problems: Leverage creative thinking to develop advanced end-user products and back-end architecture

Required Expertise:

• Node.js with Express: Deep experience with Node, including Classes, Promises, and Objects
• Experience: Nice to have 5+ years of relevant experience
• MongoDB: Skilled in using Mongoose for queries, data manipulation, and relational database experience
• JavaScript: Strong foundational knowledge of classic JavaScript
• HTML/CSS: Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3, capable of building and modifying responsive web pages

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

• jQuery & Bootstrap: Proficient in jQuery methods, libraries, and plugins.
• Front-end Frameworks: Experience with AngularJS or other frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, etc
• Template Engines: Familiar with Handlebars or similar engines (e.g., Smarty, Twig).
• JSON & GIT: Knowledgeable in JSON data standards and basic GIT commands
• AWS Knowledge: Understanding of key AWS services such as EC2, S3, Media Convert, Elastic Beanstalk, etc
• API/REST: Ability to set up API endpoints and handle POST, PUT, GET requests
• Video Streaming: Basic knowledge of web browser video streaming and HLS transcoding
