We are currently looking for experienced senior Financial reporting officer to join our Management accounting, IFRS reporting and methodology team.

This role plays a crucial part in providing financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting to support management business decisions. The ideal candidate is required to have an advanced knowledge of accounting principles and experience in the field of IFRS reporting and financial planning and analysis.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports and annual and interim IFRS statutory financial reports of the Bank and its subsidiaries;
• Act as a key point of contact for the external statutory accounts audit and actively coordinate the process with other external/internal stakeholders;
• Provide financial methodological consultations on new business initiatives/products – new accounting schemes & treatments;
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal reporting requirements, including robust validation and control activities across the financial reporting process;
• Lead or participate in bank wide projects for adoption of new or amended IFRS standards, new systems or system functionalities;
• Conduct a thorough analysis of deviations to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the financial results;
• Drive the accuracy, automation, and efficiency of financial reporting processes;
• Participate in finance transformation initiatives, promoting structured data integration and streamlining financial operations;

Required skills:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Possession or working of professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA) will be considered an advantage;
• 7+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis or related roles, preferably some experience in banking or financial sector;
• Knowledge and interest in international financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP;
• Fluency in English;
• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate freely with various stakeholders;
• Flexibility to effectively function in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail and focus on deliverables within strict deadlines;
• Proactiveness and competency at making decisions.
