SENIOR DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities:

Handle Database environments, supervising system health, capacity planning, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security.

Incident Management, Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis

Installation, patching, and upgrades of databases

Proactively supervise the database systems to detect performance problems, SQL tuning, and Database tuning

Administration of SAP HANA databases, SAP (Sybase) Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) database

Define and implement backup and recovery and high availability scenario and strategies for SAP Systems

Performance Analysis and Capacity Management of SAP Environments

Maintain internal support guides and technical documentation.

Required skills and Experience:

Knowledge and experience in Database administration

Familiarity and understanding of RDBMS concepts.

Managing large databases is a plus.

SQL and Oracle RDBМS knowledge is an advantage.

Experience with various tools like HANA cockpit, OEM, SQL developer etc.

University-level degree in IT or a related field.

Work in an international environment.

Written and spoken English is essential.

Good communications skills

Willingness to learn new technologies.
