Our current client is a global data and technology company. On their behalf, we are currently looking for an experienced Data Engineer, who would be willing to join and help them grow on a local and global level. Responsibilities:

• Develop advanced data engineering solutions supporting data analysis and ad-hoc insights;
• Design scalable, cloud-native data platforms and pipelines for structured and unstructured data;
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using modern cloud-native services;
• Lead the design and optimization of complex, multi-platform data architectures to improve performance, scalability and growth;
• Apply best practices across data quality, governance, lineage, security and observability;
• Collaborate with analytics, product, engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, high-value data solutions;
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship, ensuring adherence to established engineering standards and quality procedures;
• Develop and improve data solutions using modern cloud technologies (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue or equivalent services).

Requirements:

• 4+ years in a similar role as a Senior Data Engineer;
• Fluent English;
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative field;
• Experience developing data engineering solutions in AWS environments;
• SQL expertise and solid programming skills (Python / PySpark preferred);
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT, distributed processing and modern data architecture patterns;
• Experience with integration patterns and secure data handling practices;
• Experience working in Agile teams.
