Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

In this position, some of your responsibilities will be to:

• Advise on security strategy by shaping monitoring approaches, incident handling processes, and operational maturity improvements;
• Lead continuous monitoring of security and system events to ensure proactive detection and response;
• Assess and respond to threats by analyzing cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities;
• Identify and mitigate risks to protect systems, data, and infrastructure;
• Manage and optimize security technologies;
• Evaluate system performance to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of security controls;

Expected skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Security/Cybersecurity, or a related field;
• 5+ years of leadership and management experience in cybersecurity or security operations;
• Proven experience in managing security incidents and conducting threat analysis;
• Deep expertise in IT service management, security operations, or infrastructure monitoring;
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP) and security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs;
• SIEM proficiency, including configuring correlation rules, building dashboards, and managing alerts;
• Experience in platform optimization and cross-team alignment for monitoring architecture;
• Familiarity with enterprise-grade monitoring, detection, and incident-handling tools;
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable;
• Understanding of enterprise frameworks, including ITIL, NIST, and MITRE ATT&CK;
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
