About the position: Our client develops a lot of different products and features for the casino market. As a backend developer, you would be responsible for developing the B2B backend API’s, websockets server logic or some on-device systems. Which project you join depends on your particular skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features and products in TypeScript.
• Participate in discussions and technical decision-making.
• Participate in planning and time estimation.
• Write unit tests with TypeScript and Jest.
• Fix various bugs, reported in Jira.
• Have a good understanding of the internal and 3rd party tools we use.
• Pro-actively help improve internal processes and tools, as well as libraries.
• Follow and help the release and deployment process.
• Drive performance and code quality optimizations inside the team.
• Collaborate and help junior developers improve.
• Improve your own skills and level up.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in TypeScript and NodeJS: 8+ years of experience and 10+ total.
• Large experience with MySQL and data management.
• Very good knowledge of SQL optimization.
• Experience with WebSockets and long-lived applications.
• Extensive experience with Git and version control.
• Advanced knowledge of JS build systems and development pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
• Advanced understanding of Docker and Linux systems.
• Good knowledge of SSH.
