We are seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to help drive Tradu's automation-first testing culture. This is a hands-on technical role in fintech, requiring deep expertise in building automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality releases. This is an opportunity to join our team and play a pivotal role in building a brand-new automation platform from the ground up. You will lead a design and implementation of automated tests across UI, API, and backend systems, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Primary responsibilities (not limited to)

• Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, and integration coverage
• Collaborate with developers to embed testing early (shift-left)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with DevOps and engineering teams
• Debug, analyze, and triage automation failures, providing clear feedback to development teams
• Contribute to QA standards, best practices, and continuous improvement of automation processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software testing experience, with strong focus on test automation
• Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks
• Strong expertise in automated API, integration, and microservices/distributed systems testing
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and defect management
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming or scripting language for building automation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Skills

• FinTech, banking, or financial services industry experience
• Security and performance testing for financial applications and high-volume transaction systems
• Interest in AI-powered testing tools and modern QA innovation
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)

Working Hours: 40/week, Monday–Friday. Hybrid: 3 days in-office.
