We are looking for a responsible, well-organized, and proactive professional to join our Accounting team in the role of Senior accountant.
Primary accountabilities:
- Accounting of fixed assets and IFRS 16 leases;
- Аccounting of employee expenses incl. employee’s private use;
- Preparing of VAT Declaration;
- Checking of the accounting records (expenses) on a monthly basis, ensuring the correct VAT treatment;
- Supporting in preparation of Tax Return and Annual Financial Statements in accordance with local legislation;
- Communicate and provide information to tax authorities and auditors, tax audit preparation if any;
- Involved in implementation of new processes and developing of guidelines;
- Assists with monthly, quarterly and year end close.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Work experience 2+ years;
- University degree in Accounting or Finance;
- Excellent knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation;
- SAP experience is an advantage;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel;
- Good command of English.
