For one of our clients: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Engineer to plan and carry out their information security strategy and security measures to monitor and protect the client's sensitive data and systems from leaks, infiltration, cyber, and social attacks.

Location : Sofia, Bulgaria (Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the customer to understand functional and non-functional software requirements for the system
• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements, prepare the design of the system according to these requirements, and monitor solutions to match them afterward
• Communicate and collaborate across teams to define optimal technical solutions, assist during the design phase, create threat models, and help with security scans (SAST/SCA)
• Share expertise on technical aspects of system development and integration and ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied correctly
• Create, present, and explain high-level product specifications and design documents, and ensure that everything complies with internal policies
• Be responsible for security in the AWS infrastructure and SOC 2 compliance

Requirements:

• Experience with AWS
• Еnglish level Intermediate+
• Programming skills in JS/TS, Python, Bash
• Proficiency in SAST/SCA security
• Familiarity with 3rd Party assessment processes (ISO, SOC, PCI, etc.)
• Competency in ISO 27001, 27002 Standards
• Ability to draft process/standards/policy documents relative to applicable controls
• Ability to solve a standard mid-level algorithmic task (LeetCode-style), with flexibility in the choice of programming language
