Security Engineer
Location: ideally 2 days onsite a week in Sofia, Bulgaria Start: ASAP End: 12 months + extension Capacity: 5 days/week Language: English

The client company is one of Bulgaria’s leading tech service companies that works with most of the household names and brands in Bulgaria and beyond.
Key Responsibilities: · Proven experience in software security, DevSecOps, or application security engineering. · Familiarity with SDLC and secure development practices. · Strong knowledge of security tools and methodologies: SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanners, threat modeling tools (e.g., LeanIX, Signavio). · Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security requirements and controls into CI/CD pipelines, including tools for SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning. · Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures in accordance with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR).
