Our client is a premier international player in the high-end beverage industry, specializing in the sourcing and distribution of premium Champagne, fine spirits, and luxury beverages across global markets. They act as the vital link between world-class producers and the European market. For them, we are looking for a versatile, high-energy Sales Representative to drive ther growth across both the hospitality sector and the retail landscape.
The Role This is a dual-focus role. You will be responsible for placing the prestigious portfolio of the company in the hands of bartenders and sommeliers (On-Trade) as well as securing shelf space and listings with premium retailers and beverage specialists (Off-Trade).

Key Responsibilities
- Hybrid Sales Strategy: Grow the presence of the company in high-end bars, hotels, and restaurants (On-Trade) while simultaneously managing accounts with specialized liquor stores, department stores, and retail chains (Off-Trade).
- Listing & Distribution: Negotiate new listings and ensure the brands are prominently positioned on drink menus and retail shelves.
- Relationship Management: Maintain deep connections with F&B Managers and Sommeliers, as well as Category Managers and Retail Buyers.
- Brand Activations: Conduct tastings, staff trainings, and in-store promotions to increase brand "pull-through."
- Market Analysis: Identify trends in both sectors to tailor the company sales approach and stay ahead of the competition.
- Experience: Proven track record in sales within the beverage industry (FMCG). Experience in both gastronomy and retail is a significant advantage.
- Product Knowledge: A strong understanding of Champagne and Spirits (WSET or similar certification is a plus).
- Communication: Fluent English is mandatory for the international operations; German is plus
- Negotiation Skills: You are as comfortable pitching to a head bartender as you are negotiating terms with a retail buyer.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license (Class B) and a willingness to travel within your assigned territory.
