For one of our clients - Hödlmayr Logistics / family - owned business and one of the Europe’s leading automotive logistics companies, with locations in 16 countries /, we are searching for a driven professional for the mission of:

SALES MANAGER

The Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and implementing a commercial strategy in line with the company's objectives and vision and mission.
  • Maintain and expand business relationships with existing and potential clients, through personal visits, telephone contact, email, social media and networking events.
  • Analyzing customers' needs and requirements and offering tailor-made logistics and transport solutions that meet their expectations and budget.
  • Negotiating prices, contracts, delivery terms and service level agreements with customers.
  • Preparation and follow-up of tender applications.
  • Ensure the fleet efficiency by partnering with other company entities and / or buying-selling loads nationally and internationally.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance, customer satisfaction, market developments and competitive position.
  • Reporting on sales activities, turnover, margins, costs, opportunities and threats to management, both nationally and internationally.
  • Working together with other departments within the company (both national and international), such as marketing, finance, operations, planning and quality so as to ensure optimal service to customers. You give relevant colleagues the right instructions, price agreements and updates on certain projects at customers.
  • Initiating and implementing improvements and innovations in logistics and transport.
Requirements:
  • Relevant knowledge and experience within the National and European Automotive sector is an asset.
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field, such as commercial economics, business administration, logistics or transport.
  • Very good in business English language. Knowledge of other languages, especially German, is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, social and negotiation skills.
  • Result-oriented, customer - oriented, entrepreneurial and proactive.
  • Have a strong commercial drive, strategic vision and analytical skills.
  • Flexible in working hours and willing to travel both nationally and internationally (30-40%).
  • Organizational strength.
  • Hands-on mentality.
