We are currently looking for an experienced, self-motivated Sales Executive to join our boutique 5 star property - The Emporium Hotel Plovdiv - MGallery Collection. Strategically located in the heart of Plovdiv, we offer 61 Smart rooms with unique design , three executive meeting rooms, well-being zone, premium Restaurant and Champagne bar & Cocktail lounge.

SCOPE OF THE ROLE:

  • Proactive sales - to identify new clients with potential business for accommodation, MICE, F&B at The Emporium Hotel Plovdiv - MGallery Collection.
  • To maintain and further develop existing accounts.
  • To respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • To implement sales and marketing initiatives which will boost the hotel performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct sales calls to corporate prospects, tour operators and travel agencies Exceed personal sales goals, monthly, quarterly, annually, through account development and penetration, regular sales calls, involvement in entertainment activities, industry events and sales trips/tradeshows.
  • Identify new leads through cold calls, analysis of industry data, referrals, attendance at relevant events.
  • Ensure proper selling techniques and strategies, in accordance to the brand’s standards, are utilized to maximize revenue.
  • Conduct site inspections with prospective and existing clients.
  • Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers
  • Attend Sales Meetings, office events, and hotel-sponsored functions.
  • Submit weekly sales report to the management.
  • Maintain and update current account information in PMS and other company records.
  • Assist with any other duties as requested by supervisors and management.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • A confident team player with a positive outlook.
  • A driven personality hungry to achieve sales results for clients and for personal satisfaction.
  • Smart appearance and well spoken.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and willing to work beyond the specified hours when required to meet clients’ needs.
  • Relevant sales experience in the Hospitality industry is a must (min 2 years), in a luxury segment would be considered as an advantage.
  • Highly responsible & reliable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required (Bulgarian and English).
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
